Psychotherapy Training Program

Providing high quality psychotherapy training for graduate students seeking degrees in the mental health field.

Trainees will provide therapy and collateral mental health services to clients across our programs. We welcome students from all graduate programs.

We also encourage students of diverse identities and backgrounds to apply.

Over 20 years of experience providing a compassionate and multi-cultural environment for families and individuals in times of stress or crisis. Our area of expertise is family therapy, with special attention given to teen-related issues. Our programs focus on positive ways to heal relationships and solve problems so that youth and families are able to thrive in their own unique way. We are a non-profit serving the community of Castro Valley, San Lorenzo, and unincorporated areas of Hayward and San Leandro.

Didactic Offerings may include:

• Motivational Interviewing • Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) • Mandated Reporting • Trauma-Informed Care & ACES • Cultural Humility and Responsiveness • Brief Strategic Family Therapy (BSFT)

Hours/Stipend:

•Hours: 16-24 hours/week •Stipend: $200-$300/Month
